Happy Endings

Cats that have been adopted from Bee Meadow Farm

FRANKLIN

Senior sensation! This smart, handsome, soulful guy is about 10 years old, and is placid and well-mannered. He loves to spend time snuggled up in a cozy bed. This gorgeous house panther with a sweet little white spot on his chest enjoys watching the world go by from his window seat. Franklin is also affectionate, and loves to be petted - just the nicest boy. He’d love to find a quiet home to grace with his feline gorgeousness. He has been great with the cats he has met here and would be fine with another good-natured cat like him.

RALPH

Ralph has had a tough time of it lately. He came here after his loving owner was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He was very sad for the first couple of weeks, and is still quite quiet, although he's now exploring his room more and his appetite has improved.

Ralph is about three years ago and is still grieving the loss of his best human friend, the man who took him in from the streets and gave him the love he deserved. Ralphie’s a big, quiet guy who likes being brushed daily, and snacking on Temptations treats. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. His adopter will have to be patient and loving with him, and give him time to adjust to all the changes in his life. Once Ralph settles in, he will be a lovely, quiet pet for some lucky person.

Ralph would love to have windows to look out. He seems okay with other cats; I haven’t tried him with dogs yet, but so far he has been pretty placid.

DIXIE

This young, beautiful Tortoiseshell came to us with her kitten Richard. They were left behind after a house fire, and have never had a proper, caring home. Dixie is 10 - 12 months old and a very sweet, quiet girl. Although she is a little shy, she loves to be petted and cuddled and has a beautiful purr. She loves high perches from whcih to survey her domain. Just a precious cat who has been through so much. Her son Richard has a home lined up; now it’s Dixie’s turn!

TIM

Tim was born around July 11, 2021, and was dumped as a wee kitten (along with his sister Trudy) at a local Tim Hortons, tossed from a car onto the parking lot. (!@#%$?!!**!) Foster mama cat Amelia took them on and nursed and cared for them along with her own four babies.

Tim has a bit of a shy side, but likes attention once he gets to know you. Like his sister, he would likely not enjoy being hauled around by little kids, unlike some of his adopted siblings (Amelia’s four black kittens)! He likes to be petted and loves to play and climb. He has super-adorable grey-and-white markings.

This cute guy can leave any time now, but must come back to my vet for final boosters and spay before adoption is finalized. It would be best for him to go to a home with another kitten or an adult cat for company.

SARAH

This chatty, outgoing girl is waiting for the purr-fect home! Sarah is about two years old. She has a cute little white spot on her chest. She loves to play with wand toys and catnip mice. She’s a very confident girl who seems unimpressed with other cats, although she might be okay with a mellow cat who will stand up to her without engaging in violence, lol. She’s just the happiest cat, and she loves to hang out in high places, so be prepared to be watched atop your kitchen cupboards if you adopt Sarah.

This spectacular house panther would do best in a home with older cildren/teenagers as she is not particularly patient about being held onto or petted longer than she wants. She needs a home with people who will appreciate a bright, affectionate, confident cat, and who understand when a cat has had enough loving, because Sarah will give you a swat when she has had enough if you’re not paying attention.

She is a very cool cat and full of character.

FINN

Dark grey boy born to Christine around August 27, 2021. More deets to come. Will be ready to go in mid- to late November.

RAVEN

As smart and sleek as the corvid she was named after, Raven is one fabulous feline. She was born around July 11, 2021 to sweet Amelia, and is littermate to Paisley, Anya, and Donovan (and adopted siblings Tim and Trudy.)

This little darling is fearless, cuddly, playful and outgoing. She loves to play with all her toys, not to mention her littermates. She will readily seek out your affection. Can’t say enough good things about the kittens in Amelia’s litter. They were all handled from very early on by many different people, and are thus very well socialized.

Raven can leave any time now, but must come back to my vet for final boosters and spay before adoption is finalized. It would be best for her to go to a home with another kitten or an adult cat for company. Two kittens are always better than one! She’d be thrilled to be adopted with one of her sisters or brother.

TRUDY

Trudy was born around July 11, 2021, and was dumped as a wee kitten (along with her brother Tim) at a local Tim Hortons, tossed from a car onto the parking lot. (Insert swear words here!) Foster mama cat Amelia took them on and nursed and cared for them along with her own four babies. Trudy is quite independent and very playful. She likes to spend time with all the other kittens in her room. She adores sitting on the windowsill watching the world go by. She would likely not enjoy being hauled around by little kids, unlike some of his adopted siblings (Amelia’s four black kittens)!

She has a beautiful blue-grey coat and a perpetually-amazed look about her. She is a bit of a “Let me come to you” kind of kitty, and would rather not have affectionate forced on her, but will seek you out on her own. This beautiful girl can leave any time now, but must come back to my vet for final boosters and spay before adoption is finalized. It would be best for her to go to a home with another kitten or an adult cat for company.

CUDDLES

There may never have been a more aptly-named cat! Cuddles is ALL ABOUT THE CUDDLES! She is a super-affectionate senior girl (my vet estimates her to be 12) with a clean bill of health. She’s super chill, sweet and adorable, and purrs constantly when you pet her. She is fine with other cats, but will run away from any confrontation, so best not to put her with a cat who will bully her.

Cuddles’ beloved owner passed away and she is looking for a soft place to land. She is more than happy to keep you company on the couch as you binge-watch Netflix. Just a complete sweetheart of a cat who deserves a happy ending!

Mackie Adopted.jpg

MACKIE

Mackie is a long-haired grey female kitten born around April 30, 2021. She is an independent kind of girl who likes to get to know you before she gives you her heart! She's smart and likes to assess a situation before diving in. You will have fun getting to know this cute little gal.

PLEASE NOTE: She should preferably go to a home with another kitten or cat! It is much better for kittens not to be alone!

HARPER PIP

Initially named Jared, it was discovered that she was actually Jareda (OOPS!) Her new owner christened her Harper Pip. She was one of five kittens born in a farm machinery workshop. She is sweet and cuddly and sure to please!

PLEASE NOTE: She should preferably go to a home with another kitten or cat! It is much better for kittens not to be alone!

IVAN

Ivan is a lovely pewter tabby boy who was born to a stray cat in a garage around March 2020. His brothers Nate and Cozmo have already been adopted, but Ivan is the shyest of the boys, and I think that’s why he is still waiting for a home. Despite being a bit of a wallflower, Ivan is a sweet, affectionate fellow who meows daintily when he wants attention, and drools when you pet him. He’s a quiet cat who likes to sit back and assess things before making a move. He has been coming out of his shell beautifully, and now asks for belly rubs if he knows you well enough. With continued love and patience, Ivan will be a wonderful pet. He still needs to get used to being picked up, but even though it’s not his favourite thing, he never bites or scratches if you hold him. He’s very gentle and adorable, not to mention gorgeous. He would do best in a quiet home with a person or people who will give Ivan time to get to know him, and show his true beautiful colours! I think he would do well with another cat who is willing to show him the ropes in a kind way.

MABELAdotped.jpg

MABEL

Mabel is two years old. She and her friend Sadie survived a devastating apartment fire last winter. They were alone together in the burned-out apartment for a month, living on a bag of cat kibble and using the bathtub as a litter-box. They were brought to me after the insurance adjusters sent in a team to clean up the apartment. I would prefer that Mabel be adopted out with her friend Sadie, as they have been through so much together. Their owner is unfortunately no longer able to care for them due to her injuries.

Mabel is a sweet, shy girl. She wants to be around people but she likes to take her time getting to know you. She is afraid of bossy cats (I am looking at you, Mama!) and will run from them. She would love a nice cat tree, as high perches make her feel more secure when she is being a bit timid. She is just the nicest, most beautiful, quiet girl. She LOVES treats. I think she would do best in a home just with her friend Sadie. They would probably be okay with cat-friendly dogs if given time to get to know them.

Mabel is a real lady, delicate and adorable.

Mabel and Sadie can be adopted together for the reduced fee of $300. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, flea-treated and dewormed.

These two have been through so much. It's time for them to have a loving home of their own!

ElizaAdopted.jpg

ELIZA

Eliza is a lovely 9-years-young beauty who was given up by her former owners because they didn’t want to deal with her allergies. She arrived here with a mess of scabby, oozing sores on her back and face, with some of her fur having been shaved off by the vet during diagnosis. Following a short time on prednisone, and after being switched to a hypoallergenic diet, Eliza’s skin condition has cleared up completely, and she is no longer so itchy that she scratches herself to the point of bleeding. She is doing great on her Hill’s prescription Z/D diet and has no other health issues. She is a very affectionate, cuddly, chatty girl who enjoys sitting on your lap and purring. She will curl up on your chest and nestle her head under you chin, and just shower you with love. Eliza has a friendly, laid-back personality and the most mesmerizing green eyes.

Her fur is looking great, and she enjoys being brushed. Despite her luxurious floof, is not prone to mats.

Don’t let her age fool you! She loves to play and has lots of life left in her yet. She would make an excellent TV-watching companion. She is good with other cats, especially if they are kind to her. If you want a sweet, personable, loving feline who is also extremely beautiful, Eliza is the kitty for you!

MARLOW 2 Adopted.jpg

MARLOW

Marlow is about a year old. He is a confident, chatty, outgoing, affectionate boy who enjoys the attention of his humans. He is black with two white spots on his chest, one on his belly, and one on the tip of his tail! His tail is so darn cute. His fur is black with a beautiful smoke-grey undercoat.

Marlow seems fine with cats who aren’t too “in-your-face”, and with proper introductions, should be fine with another cat in the home.

When Marlow arrived, he was a little bit bitey, and would use his teeth to tell you he’d had enough petting, or to get your attention. But that has improved a lot with training, and his neutering. Nonetheless, I wouldn’t recommend him for a home with small children. He needs people who will be gentle with him, and understand his body language to know when he’s had enough petting.

He's a smart chatty boy who loves to play with wand toys, and when he's done, he'll sit on the window sill and bird-watch. Mostly this little character craves attention and lap time! He was surrendered to us after being brought to the vet as a stray, where euthanasia (!) had been requested, but instead, it was agreed upon to give him to us to adopt out.

This handsome guy is looking forward to having a home of his own. Personality plus!

BabyAdopted.jpg

BABY

Baby is the perfect feline specimen! She is an all-black vision of loveliness with a friendly, mellow, curious personality. She loves to be with people and is good with other cats (with a proper, slow introduction!) She is two years old and just a delight to have around, radiating happiness and kitty content. She was surrendered due to owner allergies, and she can’t wait to find her fur-ever home. Baby has been an indoor-only cat and should remain that way. She’s just an amazing little kitty spirit.

LeonardAdopted.jpg

LEONARD

Leonard is an 11-month-old male orange/white tabby. He can be a little shy at first but quickly comes out of his shell. He is affectionate and enjoys attention, and he loves to play. He's a quiet guy who can be a little nervous in new situations. He would do best as an only cat, or with slow introductions, possibly with a non-confrontational cat. He's a very sweet boy who was brought to us as a stray.

ChandlerADOPTED.jpg

CHANDLER

Chandler always seems to look like he doesn't know what the hell is going on, but don't let that fool you. He knows all and sees all! This superb little man is always up for a game of "Kill the catnip mouse!" and "Who can get themselves covered in the most dust-bunnies?" Chandler was born around July 9/19 and came to us with his four brothers and one sister after being abandoned at a farm. He will be ready to go after October 17, but will will need to come back for one more set of vaccines, then again for his neuter (between 4 - 6 months of age.) His adoption will be finalized once he is neutered. This spunky guy would LOVE to be adopted with one of his siblings.

Hank Adopted.jpg

This handsome devil is a little bit shy, but soon warms up to anyone willing to cuddle him. He was born around July 9/19 and came to the us with his four brothers and one sister after being abandoned at a farm. He loves to play hide-and-seek with his siblings. He's a super-cute, quiet little kitten just waiting for someone to love him forever. Hank will be ready to go after October 17, but will will need to come back for one more set of vaccines, then again for his neuter (between 4 - 6 months of age.) His adoption will be finalized once he is neutered. Hank would LOVE to be adopted with one of his siblings!

PiperAdopted.jpg

piper

Piper was born to her mama Shirley here at the farm on July 11, 2019. This lovely little girl is a very affectionate and playful/ Her purr motor is always running! Piper would love a home with another kitten or cat to keep her company as she matures. She is all black except for the white spot on her tummy and a white toe on her back foot.Piper will be available after October 4th, but will need to come back for one more set of vaccines, then again for her spay (between 4 - 6 months of age.) Her adoption will be finalized once she is spayed.

NormanAdopted.jpg

norman

Norman is a two-year-old male brown tabby who was found wandering the streets of Martintown with such a severe upper respiratory infection, his nose was bleeding. His coat was terrible and he was underweight and hungry. Two kind people worked together to bring him to me. We got Norman to the vet asap, where we found out he was FIV+. He was also suffering from entropion, which is a condition where the eyelid is rolled inwards, causing lashes/fur to rub constantly against the eyeball. This accounted for his constant squinting! Not surprisingly, Norman was also sporting a large set of testicles. He also had a couple of broken teeth.

Since Norman arrived, he has recovered completely from his URI. He is now fully vaccinated, flea-treated, dewormed and neutered. He had surgery to correct his entropion and remove his broken teeth and is feeling much better. And did we mention that he is the best cat in the world? Norman is content to be cuddled literally all day long, with brief food and bathroom breaks. He loves to sprawl across your lap and bathe in your love. When he is being petted, he drools with happiness which is more endearing than it sounds.

Norman gets along well with other cats. He adores kittens and is very fatherly with them. He hasn't been tested with dogs, but we suspect he would be fine with respectful dogs. He is a very mellow, quiet, affectionate boy who is looking for a home where he will be loved beyond compare. He also likes to play (A LOT!) and is partial to catnip. He is FIV+ but otherwise healthy, and can live a normal lifespan with a little extra care. For FIV+ cats, it is suggested they visit the vet every six months rather than annually.

Everyone who meets Norman is charmed by him. He is going to make someone an absolutely frigging amazing pet. If you would like to meet Norman, he's here at the farm, keeping the loveseat warm.

shirley

Shirley came to us as a young pregnant stray. She needed a safe place to give birth to her kittens, which she did a week after arriving here. She had four beautiful babies: Piper, Chia, Ozzie and Tucker, and she was the most amazing mother to them. Shirley is a sweet, affectionate, quiet gal who has now been spayed and is done with motherhood forever! She has been adopted into a loving home with her daughter Chia, now named Lucy.

WinstonAdopted.jpg

winston

Winston was born around July 9th, 2019 and dumped in a locker at a horse barn along with his five siblings. They all had bad eye infections when they came to Bee Meadow Farm, but have healed up nicely! Winston is the only long-haired cat in the bunch, and he give the most tragic looks when his ears are being cleaned. He is a playful, confident, happy kitten who would love a home with another kitten or cat to keep him company as he matures.

ChesterAdopted.jpg

chester

Chester and his sibling Belle, plus his adopted sibling Chase came to us from a barn where they were all suffering from eye infections. Chester was the runt of the litter and remains a very tiny guy! When he first saw the vet, his heart rate was so high, she couldn't count the beats. But since then, it has gradually come down to within normal range.

Chester is a super-affectionate little darling who loves to play!

Belle

BELLE and her sibling Chase, plus her adopted sibling Chase came to us from a barn where they were all suffering from eye infections.

Belle is a gorgeous, loving little kitten who loves to catch flies. She is sweet and playful and enjoys relaxing in a patch of sunlight.

Chase Adopted.jpg

CHASE

Chase came to us from a barn along with his adopted siblings Belle and Chester. They were all suffering from eye infections.

Chase is a very playful, confident guy who knows what he wants and how to get it. He is super loving and just plain adorable. He will grow into one magnificent man-cat!

FrankieAdopted.jpg

FRANKIE

Frankie is a 2-year-old male Tuxedo cat. This guy had a really rough life on the streets before he came into our care. On intake, he was covered with lice, malnourished, and both his ears were permanently crumpled from hematomas. For more time than we'd care to imagine, he was walking around with an untreated fractured hip. A kind woman saved him and brought him to us, and he has received the vet care he needed. As his hind leg had neurological damage related to the hip fracture, it needed to be amputated. Frankie also tested positive for FIV, which need not be a big deal. Cats with FIV can live normal lives with just a little bit of extra care. FIV+ cats can live with other cats so long as they get along (deep bites wounds transmit FIV.) FIV is NOT transmissible to humans, dogs or any other animals.

When I set up Frankie's GoFundMe page to cover the costs of his surgery, I was accused of milking the sad facts of his story in an effort to raise more funds. I can assure you that his story is plenty sad. and needed no elaboration. But all that suffering is behind Frankie now. He has adjusted perfectly to life as a tripod kitty! He is a very mellow, friendly, affectionate guy who loves to sprawl out on his foster family's bed and lap up all the love you can give. He enjoys playing with wand toys, and thinks cat treats are da bomb. He gets along well with most cats and is fine with respectful dogs. He is a quiet guy who doesn't ask for much out of life. He would be an excellent TV-watching companion, and he is a top-notch bed-warmer for those long, cold winter nights. If you are interested in giving this cat a fur-ever home, please let us know. He does need a bit of dental work done before his adoption is finalized, which will be taken care of by Bee Meadow Farm.

SheilaAdopted.jpg

SHEILA

Sheila was left behind outside when her owner moved. Sheila deserves MUCH better than this! She is a lovely, beautiful, affectionate dilute calico who charms everyone she meets. She is about a year old and ready to live the life she's been dreaming of, with someone who will never treat her like a bag of trash. This girl is gorgeous, inside and out.

MILO-ADOPTED.jpg

milo

This 11-month-old kitty was dumped in the countryside in late winter. He was smart enough to start throwing himself at the windows of the home of my husband's office assistant, who kept him in, then brought him here. It took Milo five seconds to get a home lined up -- he's just that awesome! He's a mellow, affectionate, funny boy who will be going off to his fur-ever home after he is neutered on April 1st. He loves food, snuggles, kids, other cats, food and food. And did I mention he loves food?

LexiAdopted .jpg

LEXI

Lexi is about two-and-a-half years old and has the most amazing markings. Although she is mainly grey/brown tabby with white, right on the middle of her back she has a black-and-white spot that clearly came from from tuxedo cat in her ancestry! She also has the most exquisite facial markings with her black “eyeliner” heart-shaped nose and grey-brown chin.

Lexi is a discerning, affectionate girl with a cute little meow who enjoys being petted. She is okay with other cats so long as she gets to be the boss (we think she would prefer being an only cat!), and enjoys spending time on a high perch, watching the world go around. She came to us after she was dumped at a farmhouse not far from here. The owners fed her but could not keep her, so they asked us to take her in. She was clearly someone’s pet at some point, but she had a terrible case of ear mites when she arrived, which have since been treated. She’s feeling much better now and her ears look great! We can’t fathom why anyone would ever have dumped her, but we’ve heard and seen it all around here.

Lexi is an easy cat to have around, and she’s lovely to look at, too. Good natured and playful, she’d be perfectly happy to spend the rest of her life indoors, lounging on a soft couch and batting around catnip toys, well-loved and secure in the knowledge that she will never again be thrown out in the cold! She would love to have a nice windowsill to sit on so she can watch the birds and squirrels. Come meet Lexi and see if she is the purr-fect match for you!

OliverAdopted.jpg

OLIVER

Oliver showed up outside the Nav Centre kitchen one summer day in 2017, lost and hungry. He was a friendly guy, so the staff were quite happy to feed him but Oliver needed a fur-ever home. The night before he was slated to come to Bee Meadow Farm, someone else took Oliver, but then tossed him out in the street three days later. Luckily his guardian angel Sharron found him and brought him to Bee Meadow Farm. He was adopted out, but now, a year and a half later, he has been returned to us due to a move. We are determined finally to find Oliver the amazing home he deserves. He is a lovely boy who enjoys riding around on his person’s shoulder, walking on a leash, plotting to capture chipmunks, and looking down and laughing from high places.

Oliver LOVES to be doing things! He is insatiably curious, playful guy with a lot of energy and he really needs outdoor access, whether through daily walks on his leash or a safe catio or other place where he can be his wonderful self. He has lived with another cat and he definitely enjoys the company of feline friends. He is not a delicate flower so would best be suited to having a feline friend who shares his rough-and-tumble ways, or at least doesn’t mind a big handsome man cat giving them a love bite or two!

If you have a house full of delicate figurines placed just so, and want a cat who will lie by your side on the divan all day, Oliver is not the cat for you. However, if you want a furry friend who will ride around on your shoulder, come to you for loving, and make you laugh on a daily basis, well… you’ve found your match!

Gracie-Adopted.jpg

gracie

Gracie is a 13-year-old brown/white tabby Maine Coon cat with the most splendidly soft and luxurious coat you could imagine! She is here with us now because her loving 90-year-old owner and friend had to move to a seniors’ residence, and couldn’t take Gracie with him. For 13 years, he took the most meticulous care of her, keeping her gorgeous coat brushed and free of mats. She has been to the vet regular and is the picture of good health.

Gracie very much enjoyed sitting in her owner’s lap to be petted. Being a Maine Coon, she has an independent spirit. She loves to be brushed!

Gracie has been an indoor-outdoor cat her entire life, and would likely do best in a home where she can have some kind of safe outdoor access. It’s also possible she could transition to being an indoor-only cat, if her adopter is willing to spend time with her and keep her stimulated.

Gracie would do best in an adult-only home, or a home with mature children or teenagers who would let Gracie come to them for affection when she chooses.

Gracie has been an only cat, but she doesn’t seem to mind the resident foster cats and kittens; she seems indifferent to them. I suspect she would be fine with another cat with a laid-back attitude who just left her to her own devices.

Losing her owner has been quite the change for Gracie; we’d really like to see her in a stable home for the rest of her days where she will be loved for who she is: a beautiful, independent senior girl who still has a lot of love to give.

JamesADOPTED.jpg

MICHAEL

Born to Valerie on July 11, 2018. This gorgeous black tabby has a hearty purr and loves to be kissed! He is playful and affectionate, enjoying a good cuddle when he’s ready for some down time. A purrfect little tabby boy! He was probably the shyest of Valerie’s kittens, but he’s had lots of socialization and is now friendly and happy to meet people. And he loves dogs (dogs who are calm around cats)!

JackAdopted.jpg

JACK

Born around July 11, 2018, adopted by Valerie on August 1, 2018. This little floofer is a grade-A lapcat. He has been through a lot, suffering from a bad bout with calicivirus as a tiny kitten. But he made it through and is now a healthy, handsome young boy with the loudest purr on the farm. He turns into a bit of a boneless chicken when he’s relaxing in your arms. Jack charms everyone he meets. Such a sweetheart!

Valerie-Adopted.jpg

valerie

Valerie was once a pregnant single mama-to-be, wandering the streets of Cornwall, going door-to-door looking for a safe place to have her babies. Lucky for Valerie, a kind woman took her in, then brought her to Bee Meadow Farm. After spending a few weeks here eating some good food and gaining weight nicely, Valerie gave birth to four kittens. She took a break between #3 and #4 (her kittens Cassie, James, Michael and Malcolm), and in that time, the OSPCA called to ask if we had a nursing mama (why yes!), because someone had brought in a one-week-old kitten found in a ditch. We took in that kitten (now named Taylor), and Valerie adopted him immediately. On August 1st, Valerie accepted three more starving orphaned kittens: Beccy, Robert and Jack.

This amazing cat has now raised eight beautiful kittens, and it is time for her to find a home of her own where she can relax and be loved. She is about three years old, and in excellent health, and will be ready to go to her fur-ever home after her spay operation (October 23.) This gorgeous gal is a smart, sweet, (occasionally spicy!) affectionate cat who likes to give hugs when you pick her up. She is super-chatty and exceedingly adorable.

TayaADOPTED.jpg

TAYLOR

Born around July 4, 2018, found in a ditch and taken to the SD&G OSPCA on July 11th, and adopted to Valerie while she was giving birth to her four kittens!

CorbinAdopted.jpg

CORBIN

Peekaboo's son born June 10, 2018. Corbin is the quintessential Tuxedo cat with his gorgeous symmetrical markings and vanilla-bean paw pads. Corbin likes to cuddle with his siblings, and has no objections to being smacked in the head by his adopted sister Lucy in a game of "It's my box! No, it's MY box!" Corbin knows all and sees all. Recently he met a dragonfly for the first time ad was completely mesmerized. Corbin is an outgoing, well-adjusted kitty who would be a great addition to any cat-loving home. And those whiskers! Oh myyyy! Corbin and Lucy are good buddies and would love to have a home together.

peekaboo

Peekaboo is a beautiful three-year-old stray cat who was being fed by a kind man. He noticed Peekaboo was pregnant and channelling her inner Goodyear Blimp. Then one day, Peekaboo showed up completely deflated. Knowing that the kittens must have been born, the kind man followed Peekaboo for three hours until he found her babies in a field of grass. He scooped them all up and brought them home, and not long after, Peekaboo and her six gorgeous black-and-white babies (born June 10, 2018) came to Bee Meadow Farm.

Peekaboo is a quiet, affectionate girl who loves people. She can be bossy with other cats, so if she going to a home with a cat, she would be best-suited to a feline friend who is laid-back and not bothered by bossy girls.

This lady LOVES to play! She has been a great mama, but now she deserves lots of time for fun. Wand toys are a favourite, although she would not refuse a nice big turkey feather to play with!

Peekaboo has been an amazing mama, protective of her butterball babies, and feeding them so much, she wore herself out. We've been fattening her back up and she is doing great! She'll make an fantastic, loving pet for some lucky person.

MAgpIE

Peekaboo's daughter born June 10, 2018. This little cutie is the spitting image of her mother, with the same easygoing personality. She is confident and playful and a little bossy, and enjoys attention from her humans. Just a little beauty inside and out!

Martin-Adopted.jpg

martin Short-tail

Martin Short-Tail was found wandering with part of his tail missing and a bloody injury left behind. A kind young woman got him to Bee Meadow Farm, and the good staff of St. Lawrence Valley Animal Hospital (who thought perhaps Martin had fallen asleep next to a car and had his tail run over!) did a partial amputation and neutered Martin at the same time.

Martin was born around January 2018. He is affectionate, laid-back and exceedingly handome (his colour is called "pewter tabby"!) He likes other cats, catnip toys, and lounging around on windowsills. He will make a purr-fect for some lucky person!

Selena-ADOPTED.jpg

selena

Selena was born to foster cat Jewel on April 13, 2018. Selena is laid back and affectionate, confident and playful. She will be ready to go to her new home after July 16th, but she either must be spayed before she leaves (she needs to weigh 2 kg for her spay operation), or you can sign an agreement to foster her until it's time for her spay, at which point you will bring her back to me, I'll have her spay procedure done, and the adoption will become permanent. Adoption fee of $175 includes spay, deworm, deflea, vaccines and boosters. You may need to get her rabies vaccine done if she is not old enough to have it before she is adopted.

Leo.jpg

LEO

Leo was born to foster cat Jewel on April 13, 2018. Leo can be a bit shy but he loves to play! He will be ready to go to his new home after July 16th, but he either must be spayed before he leaves (she needs to weigh 2 kg for her spay operation), or you can sign an agreement to foster her until it's time for her spay, at which point you will bring her back to me, I'll have her spay procedure done, and the adoption will become permanent. Adoption fee of $175 includes spay, deworm, deflea, vaccines and boosters. You may need to get her rabies vaccine done if she is not old enough to have it before she is adopted.

NovaADOPTED.jpg

NOVA

Nova was born April 29, 2018. She and her three siblings were adopted by foster cat Jewel after their mother was killed by a predator. A passerby rescued the kittens, and Jewel immediately took them on. Nova is extra sweet and cuddly. She loves lap time and cuddles, and would love to be adopted with her brother Boomer.

TayaADOPTED.jpg

TAYA

OOOPS! Taya is a foster fail! We love her so much, her fur-ever home has turned out to be right here at Bee Meadow Farm!

Our very shy, very adorable girl. Taya was born in June 2017 and has been hanging out with her friends Chip and Dale for most of her kittenhood. Taya came to us from Operation Spay + Neuter in Hawkesbury, ON. She is a lovely feline, but she is extremely shy and will need a home with someone who has lots of patience for shy kitties, and is willing to accept Taya on her own terms, and give her the time and space she needs to blossom. She would do best living with at least one other friendly cat for company. Taya loves to play with toys, especially wand toys. She also enjoys romping around with Chip and Dale, and our resident granary cats. She has gotten along amazingly well with any feline she has thus far met!

She is in not the kind of cat who is going to come right over and jump on your lap; you are going to have to earn her trust, but if you are willing to put in the time needed to do that, you will be helping a kitten who really needs love and kindness, and in the process, you will be doing something wonderful for yourself, too. Taya has been opening up since she arrived, and will now give kitty-kisses (long, slow eye blinks) and will come to your feet and meow for supper. She will also let you stroke her while she eats. She has the cutest little face and is always inquisitively watching the world around her. We hope Taya will find that special person who is looking for a cat who needs them, not the other way around. Adopting a shy cat can be incredibly rewarding, as they come to trust you over time. We love Taya, and have high hopes that she will find the purr-fect fur-ever home!

JewelADOPTED.jpg

JEWEL

Lovely one-year-old Jewel is a sweet, affectionate Calico who came here in April 2018 with five kittens. Sadly, she lost two of her kittens, but subsequently adopted four more premature kittens. These kittens did not survive, but Jewel's remaining three were going strong when four more orphaned kittens (whose mother was killed defending them from a predator) arrived at the farm. Jewel took these babies on without a second thought, and has now brought up seven beautiful babies! She is a relaxed, calm, friendly, gorgeous cat who definitely wins Kitty Mama of the Year! Jewel has been an excellent mama, but this will be her last litter. She is being spayed on July 30 and will get to spend the rest of her life as a beloved, pampered pet.

Sacha-Adopted.jpg

SACHA

Beautiful Sacha has one blue eye, one green eye and is completely deaf. She has been so well cared-for, and dearly loved. She is six years old and needed a new home due to the serious health issues of her very loving owner. It was with great reluctance that Sacha's hu-mom gave her up, and we promised to find Sacha an excellent home.

Sacha now lives with another deaf cat and a younger kitty. She also has grandchildren to play with, which her original owner was most pleaed to hear about, as Sacha loved her grandchildren as well. Happy life, Sacha!

AgnesAdopted.jpg

AGNES

Agnes was a young mother (a year old) when she arrived here in April 2018 with six lovely newborn kittens. Tragically she lost every single one of her babies, breaking all of our hearts, despite excellent veterinary care and round-the-clock bottle- and tube-feeding of the little ones. Agnes was depressed for quite some time after this, but luckily, a wonderful woman fell in love with this sweet cat and took her home, promising to make up for all the sadness Agnes had suffered. Agnes is now living the good life with two kitty siblings and am amazing human family.

Julia-Adopted.jpg

JULIA

Julia is the perfect cat! She checks all the boxes on the cat scale of awesomeness. She was born in June 2017. A little beauty, she gets along with people (adults and kids), other cats, and dogs. Nothing fazes her; she takes everything in her stride. She was a proud participant in our recent "Cats on Your Mats Yoga" class, and was quite at ease in a room full of yogis and other cats and kittens. She is affectionate and cuddly, fearless and confident, and just a gorgeous feline. Truly, the perfect cat. Julia came to us from Operation Spay + Neuter in Hawkesbury, ON.

GrahamAdopted.jpg

GRAHAM

This right here is 16 pounds of handsome ebony MAN CAT! Graham is about 5 years old. Sadly, he is also declawed, but this disability does not stop him from being an excellent mouser! (Thank you for the gift of a severed mouse head, Graham.) Graham has tons of personality. He is affectionate, but for the most part would prefer to sit next to you rather than on your lap (although he has made exceptions for people he is very fond of!) He loves to be petted and brushed. He has a super-cute little vampire underbite thing going on. Graham would be fine with older kids (I think he might get impatient with little kids hauling him around) and other cats. He's not tested with dogs, but not much fazes him, so I suspect he would adjust well. Graham was taken from the same place as his friend Jeffrey. They were both flea-infested on arrival, and Graham had bald spots from a flea allergy. Now that his fleas are gone and he's eating quality food, his fur is growing back into a luscious, shiny mane of feline wonder. One day he will again be an über-fluffy kitty boy. If you would like to adopt Graham, his adoption fee is $150 and includes neutering, vaccines, flea-treatment, and deworming. Graham also has a microchip. He does not have to be adopted with his buddy Jeffrey, but they do make an amazing pair.

JUDY

Judy is a gorgeous dilute Torbie girl. She was born in March 2021. She can be a little bit shy at first, but she seeks out love and affection and has a delightful, quiet personality. She likes other cats and kittens, and really enjoys watching the world go by from her window perch. She would probably do best in a quieter home with people who will take time to get to know her, but she has really blossomed since arriving here and will make some lucky person a wonderful pet! She is fully vaccinated and spayed, and ready to go to her new home.

DAVE

Dave is one good-looking guy! He’s laid-back, affectionate and loaded with personality. Super playful and extra-awesome, this guy is about one year old and is packed with feline purr-fection. He will be ready to go after his neutering on December 3/21. He seems fine with other cats (after a suitable introduction) and dogs.

Dave adores fresh catnip, Netflix bird documentaries, and gazing out the window. He will play with a wand toy for ages, then happily snuggle with you on the couch. He is a connoisseur of belly rubs! This big boy has a gorgeous plush grey cat and large manly paws. He’s the complete pussycat package!

JAMIE

Jamie is 1 year old and is the quintessential brown tabby: laid-back, friendly, affectionate, chatty, playful, cute, and with whiskers to die for. He is just a delightful young cat who will seek out your company.

PAISLEY - ***SPECIAL NEEDS!***

Paisley was born around July 11, 2021 to sweet Amelia, and is littermate to Raven, Anya, and Donovan (and adopted siblings Tim and Trudy.) She suffers from ataxia, which mainly affects her coordination. Initially we thought she might have cerebellar hypoplasia, but my vet is not convinced, and we would need to do an MRI to find out for sure, and the results would not change treatment or outcome.

Simply said, Paisley is quite wobbly on her feet, and her head swings from side to side, somewhat out of her control. It can be uncomfortable to see if you don’t know what is going on, but she is really quite a happy, playful kitten. When she was younger, her eyes also rolled around a lot, but this has improved greatly as she has gotten older, as has her overall condition. She is already learning to compensate for her neurological disorder by leaning on objects to keep steady. Her condition is not painful, and she can live a relatively normal life. She is smaller than the other kittens. It’s possible she suffered brain injury in the birth canal that affected the part of her brain that controls coordination.

Paisley has never known life without ataxia, and she is not particularly bothered by it. She is the first kitten to dive in to the food bowl. She knows how to get in and out of the litterbox, and how to brace herself while going potty. She LOVES to play with toys and with her siblings, and recently surprised me by climbing right up onto my lap. She will seek out your attention! As she ages, we hope there will be further improvements to her condition, but it is something she will have for the rest of her life, and she must be kept safe because of it. For example, stairs could be a risk for her if she lost her balance on them. She just needs some consideration about her environment. She is not on any meds and does not need any special care other than keeping her safe from falls, etc.

Paisley is a true survivor and has a special place in our hearts.

RYDER

Silver tabby boy born to Christine around August 27, 2021. More deets to come. Will be ready to go in mid- to late November.

DONOVAN

This little man is just the sweetest kitten! He was born around July 11, 2021 to sweet Amelia, and is littermate to Paisley, Raven, and Anya (and adopted siblings Tim and Trudy.) He is always ready to climb into your lap for some serious snuggles. He has an adorable round face with inquisitive amber eyes. He’s extremely well adjusted and love to tussle and play with his siblings. Just a perfect pussycat! You’d be lucky to adopt him.

Donovan can leave any time now, but must come back to my vet for final boosters and neuter before adoption is finalized. It would be best for him to go to a home with another kitten or an adult cat for company. Two kittens are always better than one! Donovan would love to be adopted with one of his sisters.

ANYA

This delightful house panther was born around July 11, 2021 to her sweet mother, Amelia and is littermate to Paisley, Raven, and Donovan (and adopted siblings Tim and Trudy.) Anya is a bold adventurer. She’s super playful, likes to be held, and enjoys tumbling around the foster cat room with her siblings. She has a certain grace around her and is going to be a gorgeous cat.

This lovely girl can leave any time now, but must come back to my vet for final boosters and spay before adoption is finalized. She’d be thrilled to be adopted with one of her sisters or brother.

KeesaAdopted.jpg

KEESA

Keesa is a lovely, healthy silver tabby, and she is patiently waiting for her fur-ever home. She is at most two years old. She was brought to us by a caring family who found her and her five kittens in their garage one day! Keesa was an excellent mother to her babies, but now she’s spayed and there will be no more kittens for her.

She has had a hard time in the past, losing much of her ears to frostbite, as well as the end of her tail. It took her a while to trust us fully, but now she is a curious, affectionate girl who isn’t shy about letting you know what she does and doesn’t want! She is okay with other cats, particularly ones who just ignore her. She will hiss at them if they tick her off, but for the most part she ignores them. She doesn’t like having her tail or back end petted and will let you know verbally how she feels about that, lol. I rate her as little spicy with a lot of sweetness. She’s a quiet cat who is content to mind her own business and watch the birds from the window. She also enjoys going outside in the catio. I recommend having her as an indoor cat with outdoor access only to a catio (or possibly on a leash and harness.) With her ear damage, she will be particularly sensitive to the cold if she is outdoors in winter.

She would do best in a quiet home with no small children as she doesn’t love being hauled around or petted when she is not in the mood for it. She’s a great kitty! I haven’t tested her with dogs, but I think she would adjust to a cat-savvy dog given time. She would be fine with cats who aren’t going to try to dominate her. She currently spends some time hanging out with foster cat Cuddles and our own cat Marlow. She loves to play with wand toys!

We are looking forward to sending Keesa off the the amazing home she so deserves after a tough life outdoors.

SADIEAdopted.jpg

SADIE

Sadie is about a year old. She and her friend Mabel survived a devastating apartment fire last winter. They were alone together in the burned-out apartment for a month, living on a bag of cat kibble and using the bathtub as a litter-box. They were brought to me after the insurance adjusters sent in a team to clean up the apartment. I would prefer that Sadie be adopted out with her friend Mabel, as they have been through so much together. Their owner is unfortunately no longer able to care for them due to her injuries.

Sadie is outgoing, affectionate, friendly and bossy.  When she first came here she hid constantly, but now she's the life of the party in the foster cat area. She runs out to check on visitors and isn't shy about asking for treats. She loves to be petted and enjoys playing with wand toys and catnip mice. She's an active, playful gal with tons of personality. She knows what she wants and how to get it!

She loves to roll on her back and show you her pretty belly.

Sadie and Mabel can be adopted together for the reduced fee of $300. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, flea-treated and dewormed.

These two have been through so much. It's time for them to have a loving home of their own!

EmmyLouAdopted.jpg

EMMYLOU

This sweet girl was found last winter trying to keep warm on an SUV engine block. She suffered frostbite to her ears and feet, and her fur was singed and whiskers melted from the heat of the engine. She recovered well from her injuries but lost the edges of her ears. She has a subluxating kneecap on one leg so she walks like a runway model. She's a tiny, perfect cat!

DOLLY

Dolly is a pretty, affectionate 1-year-old Torbie girl (tabby/Tortoiseshell) who had two litters of kittens (all rescued and adopted out!) before coming to the farm. Initially we thought she would stay as a barn cat, but as it turns out, Dolly really would prefer a coddled indoor life. She is a super-loving little cat, who will gently paw at you when she wants pets. She’s also the champion of loving head-butts, and she likes to be with her people. The only thing she isn’t really fond of is being picked up, but we are working on that, and she is a gentle cat who doesn’t scratch or bite, even when she is being held at the vet for her vaccines. She can be a little shy at first but once she trusts you, she will shower you with kitty-love.

CeeCeeADOPTED.jpg

CEECEE

This petite package of perfection was found cowering in a window well at a high school. She was rescued by a caring couple, and eventually made her way to our farm. She is about a year old, but she’s a tiny little gal!

It is hard to get a non-blurry photo of this cutie because she is always rolling around and reaching out to you for affection. She loves attention, and will happily sit on your lap for pets while she purrs away. She’s also very playful, and would not say no to a good snort of catnip.

When she first arrived, CeeCee was a bit timid, but she has now come out of her shell and readily leaves her cozy bed to greet visitors. She also enjoys lounging on the windowsill to watch the squirrels and Blue Jays.

I haven’t tested CeeCee with other cats yet but suspect she would be okay with the right kitty and slow, patient introductions. She has met a (respectful) dog before, and merely hissed at him and held her ground, so I think she would also be fine with a dog that is good around cats.

This sweet kitty seems loves everyone!

RoxyADOPTED.jpg

ROXY

This little cutie pie was born around July 9/19. She has her five siblings were dumped at a farm in our area. They all had nasty eye infections but apart from that, were quite healthy. Roxy's eyes were the worst but with good vet care, they soon cleared up. She is a beautiful little girl, very sweet and quiet. When she gets fed up with her five boisterous brothers, she has a snooze in her little "cave" mounted high up on the cat room wall. She's not shy, but she does like to sit back and assess the situation before diving in. She loves cuddles and affection and will make someone a lovely pet. She would love a home with another kitten or cat to keep her company as she matures. Roxy will be available after October 17th, but will need to come back for one more set of vaccines, then again for her spay (between 4 - 6 months of age.) Her adoption will be finalized once she is spayed.

LeroyAdopted.jpg

leroy

This vision of cuteness is Leroy. He is a playful, confident kitten born around July 9/19. He came to the us with his four brothers and one sister after being abandoned at a farm. He loves to wrassle with his siblings and inhale any food you offer him. Leroy will be ready to go after October 17, but will will need to come back for one more set of vaccines, then again for his neuter (between 4 - 6 months of age.) His adoption will be finalized once he is neutered. Leroy would LOVE to be adopted with one of his siblings!

OzzieAdopted.jpg

ozzie

Ozzie was born to his mama Shirley here at the farm on July 11, 2019. This fun-loving, cuddly boy is the most outgoing and confident of the litter. He loves to be held and cuddled, and would enjoy a home with another kitten or cat to keep him company as he matures. Ozzie will be available after October 4th, but will need to come back for one more set of vaccines, then again for his neuter (between 4 - 6 months of age.) His adoption will be finalized once he is neutered.

SOOKIE ADOPTED.jpg

sookie

Sookie wants love. And then some more love. And then some MORE LOVE! He was given the name "Sookie" by my teenage barn helpers because he is such a SUCKIE BABY! He loves to climb your body like a tree, whereupon he will perch on your shoulder and happily stay there as long as you will let him. He loves the vet, and he loves vet techs even more. In fact, he just loves everybody. He is not shy about asking for the attention he craves! Sookie needs a home with someone who is willing to smother him with love and cuddles. He is not going to be happy being left alone all day, so he should have a playmate; it would be great if he could be adopted with one of his siblings, or go to a home with a cat ready to show him the ropes. He will be ready to go after October 17, but will will need to come back for one more set of vaccines, then again for his neuter (between 4 - 6 months of age.) His adoption will be finalized once he is neutered.

TuckerAdopted.jpg

TUCKER

Tucker was born to his mama Shirley here at the farm on July 11, 2019. This adorable tuxedo boy is a little bit quieter than his three siblings, but he still loves to play and go on adventures. He has a purr that can be heard across the room. He also find running water fascinating. He would love a home with another kitten or cat to keep him company as he matures.

JoeyAdopted.jpg

joey

Joey is a two-month old kitten who came to us because his prior owners' older cat was not happy about having a kitten in the house. Joey is a gorgeous flame-point kitten with beautiful blue eyes. He is a confident, playful, happy little guy with a gorgeous purr, and he is sure to win your heart!

ChloeAdopte.jpg

chloe

This beautiful dilute Calico is about a year old. She is sweet, affectionate and quiet, and loves the company of her people. She is blind in her left eye; it isn't causing her any issues, and the vet does not recommend removing it. She does just fine with her good eye and is a very happy, well-adjust girl.

Chloe likes to nap in various hiding places, but will come out when you call her. She loves to be petted and will thank you with her beautiful purrs.

She would be fine with other cats that aren't mean or bossy. She seems fine with kids too but due to her quiet nature, she would probably do better with kids older than toddlers.

Chloe was abandoned outside in the middle of winter, and she can't wait to find a loving home of her own! She's well-behaved at the vet and an all-round wonderful cat.

Garfield-Adopted.jpg

GARFIELD

Garfield came to us from Cornwall, where he had been fed for several months by a caring couple who were not able to offer him a permanent home. It turned out this unneutered tom cat was FIV-positive, and had an abscess on his back paw, and a deep cut on his front paw. He was neutered, vaccinated, and stitched back together, and we soon discovered what a lovely, affectionate mellow boy he is! Before I even had time to get his listing up, he was adopted. We are thrilled beyond words that he has found a wonderful, loving home!

TobyAdotped.jpg

toby

Toby is a charming 2-year-old male brown tabby. When his previous owners moved, they chucked Toby outside and left him to fend for himself. Fortunately some caring people brought him to safety and he is now up for adoption.

Toby is a very friendly, affectionate, laid-back guy. On his recent visit to the vet, he charmed everyone by sprawling out on the exam table as he kneaded the air with his lovely paws and accepted all the treats the vet could offer! He LOVES people and will make an amazing companion to whoever adopts him. He seems okay with other cats after a slow introduction. Just an all-round amazing guy with a permanent grin on his face!

MollyADOPTED.jpg

MOLLY

This lovely tabby girl is Molly, a stray cat who needed to get off the streets and into a warm home. Molly is between one and two years old. She is calm, quiet and sweet. She can be a tiny bit shy when she first meets you, but when she gets to know you, she readily comes when called, purring all the while. She loves to be petted and is a beautiful little soul, readily doling out her head-butts. She gets along well with other cats who are kind to her, and is quite laid-back and confident. She loves to sit on the windowsill and watch the world go bye. Just a super little cat.

JosieAdopted.jpg

JOSIE

Josie was found wandering in a parking lot, and needed a safe place to stay. She is about ten months old and a real beauty of a dilute calico/tabby mix. She gets along very well with other cats (but loves the company of humans, too) and has a wonderful, calm demeanour. She is playful and very affectionate, but would prefer to come sit on your lap rather than being picked up. She can be a teeny bit shy when you first meet her, but quickly comes out of her shell. Dainty and graceful, Josie could stand to put on a bit of weight, but she is eating well now and we expect to have her in fine form soon. She is easily distracted from her food bowl (I wouldn’t know what that is like!) and can need a bit of encouragement to focus on her supper.

This girl’s a gem! Don’t miss this chance to adopt a truly amazing feline. She’ll be ready to go after her spay appointment on October 23.

DERYN

Peekaboo's daughter born June 10, 2018. What a little sweetheart! When she wants to be picked up and loved, she'll reach out her front paws to you. She is the antithesis of her party-animal brother Callum. Deryn enjoys sitting back and watching the world around her. She has a lovely feminine face and a cute little black-spotted nose. If you want a sweet, cuddly gal, Deryn might be the kitty for you!

Boo.jpg

BOO

Peekaboo's son born June 10, 2018. This magnificent little man-cat is Boo. He is the biggest kitty of the litter, but he's gentle, playful, chillaxed and friendly. Boo enjoys lap time and snuggles, but he's always up for a good game of "toss the catnip mouse" (which may turn into "toss the real mouse" if he's ever let loose in an old farm house!) He is a quietly confident feline who is fazed by nothing. And he has a little secret: a tiny white spot on his very cute belly. Want your own house panther? Boo is the boy for you! This guy's got it all going for him!

PhoebeAdopted.jpg

PHOEBE

Peekaboo's daughter born June 10, 2018. This lovely little feline princess can't wait to find her fur-ever home! She is gentle and loving, and enjoys posing for photographs. She's not a shy girl, but she doesn't feel the need to rush into things, either. She has a blast playing with her siblings, and would love to be adopted with one of them. Born in an open field amongst tall swaying grass, Phoebe has emerged as the picture of feline grace and elegance.

Callum-Adopted.jpg

CALLUM

Peekaboo's son born June 10, 2018. This boy is a real character! He is the meeter-greeter of Peekaboo's crew, always first to the door to say hello to anyone dropping by. Callum is full of confidence, charm and personally, and as you can see, he's also ridiculously cute. He likes cats, dogs, and people, and would probably like an aardvark if he'd ever met one. This fluffalicious little floofball enjoys being carried around and doted upon. He's super-easy to love.

FrancesADOPTED.jpg

FRANCES

This one-year-old sweet-pie of a tiny little cat is Frances. She's one year old and SUPER affectionate! She loves to chat with you and snuggle in close for some lovin'. Frances adores being held and cuddled. She is good with other cats and just an all-round gorgeous feline. Everyone who has met her has instantly fallen in love.

Frances was dumped in a machine shed in June 2018. The farmer who found her thought she was pregnant, but she had already had kittens (and was still full of milk!) Unfortunately we don't know what happened to her kittens, but we were able to take in Frances. She will be ready for adoption soon, after she has had her booster vaccines and spay surgery.

The person who takes Frances home witll be very lucky indeed. She is friendly, outgoing, loving and PURR-FECT!

Star2Adopted.jpg

STAR

Star was born to foster cat Jewel on April 13, 2018. This sweet little dilute Calico kitten has a lovely, playful personality. She is smart and affectionate and oh-so-pretty.

BoomerADOPTED.jpg

BOOMER

Boomer was born April 29, 2018. He and his three siblings were adopted by foster cat Jewel after their mother was killed by a predator. A passerby rescued the kittens, and Jewel immediately took them on. Boomer LOVES naps. He also loves to cuddle and snuggle on your lap. He is a super-chill little dude who loves people. Boomer hopes to be adopted with his sister Nova. He will be ready to go to his new home after July 16th, but he either must be neutered before he leaves (he needs to weigh 2 kg for his neuter operation), or you can sign an agreement to foster him until it's time for his neutering, at which point you will bring him back to me, I'll have his neuter procedure done, and the adoption will become permanent. Adoption fee of $175 includes neuter deworm, deflea, vaccines and boosters. You may need to get his rabies vaccine done if he is not old enough to have it before he is adopted.

AuroraADOPTED.jpg

AURORA

Aurora was born April 29, 2018. She and her three siblings were adopted by foster cat Jewel after their mother was killed by a predator. A passerby rescued the kittens, and Jewel immediately took them on. Aurora is a ridiculously cute SUPER FLOOFY KITTEN! That coat of hers will require brushing, but she enjoys it! Aurora is a quiet soul who likes to sit back and observe the world around her. She enjoyed being held and cuddled, and she also LOVES to chase catnip mice and play with a wand toy. Chinook was born April 29, 2018. He and his three siblings were adopted by foster cat Jewel after their mother was killed by a predator. A passerby rescued the kittens, and Jewel immediately took them on. Boomer is the softest, fluffiest little guy! He is affectionate and cuddly, and enjoys having his belly kissed (or is good at pretending!) He is a quiet boy who will make a loving, relaxed pet. He loves his humans. Chinook will be ready to go to his new home after July 16th, but he either must be neutered before he leaves (he needs to weigh 2 kg for his neuter operation), or you can sign an agreement to foster him until it's time for his neutering, at which point you will bring him back to me, I'll have his neuter procedure done, and the adoption will become permanent. ChipAdopted.jpg

CHIP

Chip was born in August 2017. He was found as a tiny kitten with his brother Dale 18 feet up a tree. He was rescued and bottle fed by the kind women of Operation Spay + Neuter in Hawkesbury, ON. Chip is a real character! He is unspeakably affectionate and purrs constantly. He loves to ride around on your shoulder, jump on your back while you are cleaning the litter box, and be held and cuddled. He is also super playful and fun, and "shy" is not a word we would ever use to describe Chip. He LOVES people, and is still very much full of kitten joie de vivre so if you are looking for a mature, sedate feline, he is not the boy for you. However, if you want a cat who will make you laugh and smile, seek you out for snuggles, and fill your heart with love, Chip is your guy. He gets along well with other cats and would be fine with kids. He hasn't been tested with dogs, but not much fazes Chip so he would no doubt take cat-friendly dogs in his stride.  Chip is bonded to his brother Dale and it would be wonderful if they could find a home together. They will keep each other amused!

DALE

GET YOUR OWN HOUSE PANTHER! Dale was born in August 2017. He was found as a tiny kitten with his brother Chip 18 feet up a tree. He was rescued and bottle fed by the kind women of Operation Spay + Neuter in Hawkesbury, ON. Chip is sweet and loving! He's affectionate but quieter than his brother Dale, and a bit more subtle! When he wants your attention, he will twine himself around your ankles and give you a delicate "meow." He likes to be picked up and cuddled, and enjoys chin scritches. He is a sleek, handsome boy. His friend Julia pushed him off a shelf and fractured his rear leg the day he arrived at the farm (oops!), but after two weeks of cage rest, Dale has healed up nicely and is zooming around with brother Chip once again. Dale gets along well with other cats and would be fine with kids. He can be a tiny bit shy until he gets to know you, but once he does, he's all yours, and it doesn't take long; he's just a bit less "in-your-face" than his brother Chip. This boy is a sweetheart. Dale is bonded to his brother Chip and it would be great if they could find a home together.

GRAYSON

Grayson was once a stray cat at a local feedmill, living a hard-luck life as an unneutered male. He was live-trapped in a case of mistaken identity, after our former foster kitty Grace went missing one day when she slipped out a door left ajar at her new home (Grace has since been found safe and sound!) So we took Grayson in, and for a good six weeks, he stayed in our barn room without making a sound: not a hiss, a meow or a purr. He also did not scratch or bite, and if you picked him up, he offered no resistance but instead went limp in your arms. No way was he a feral cat, but something has made him shut down. We got him neutered and vaccinated and figured he'd be a Bee Meadow Farm barn cat.

And then one day, Grayson purred. And pushed into my hand as I stroked him. And presented me with that sweet Grayson smile you see in the photo above.

We soon realized that Grayson was a big softie who could not fend off the likes of our Keaton, king of the barn. So although we wanted to keep him forever, we decided to try to find him a fur-ever home in a house. He is the sweetest cat you can imagine and nothing like the catatonic feline we took in from the feed mill one cold winter day. Grayson wins the "Cat Transformation of the Decade" award here at Bee Meadow Farm.

MATHILDA

This super-sweet, three-year-old lady spent at least nine months on the streets of Cornwall and had a litter of kittens before she was rescued by a kind woman who offered her food and shelter on her enclosed porch for the winter. Mathilda was spayed and vaccinated by Roy and Cher's Rescue Farm, and later brought to Bee Meadow Farm to be adopted out. She is cuddly, affectionate and pretty, with a spectacular purr. She enjoys being brushed and cuddled and is happy to be off the streets. She lasted here for all of four days before going to a loving fur-ever home.

JEFFREY

Can you say cuddle bug? That's Jeffrey! This guy would literally sit on your lap all day given the chance. I suspect he might take affection over food if give the choice. He is always asking to be picked up and cuddled. He is a lovely, LOVELY, lovely sweet-natured cat who wants nothing more than humans to dote on him. He is great with kids of all ages (recently he had five small children clustered around him in the adoption room and he was enthralled. He's a patient, gentle kitty!) He loves to play, especially with wand toys. When he arrived here, he (like his friend Graham, who came with him) was crawling with fleas, and he also had terrible ear mites. An application of Revolution plus ten days of ear drops twice a day have cleared up those problems. He was very good about getting drops in his ears. He's not tested with dogs, but he's so laid back, I feel sure he would be able to deal with them. Jeffrey is a lover, not a fighter. He charms every person that meets him, and he'll charm you too. If you would like to adopt Jeffrey, his his adoption fee is $150 and includes neutering, vaccines, flea-treatment, and deworming. Jeffrey also has a microchip. He does not have to be adopted with his buddy Graham, but he is the yin to Graham's yang.
